Friday we started Chapter 10 in our Weaver Vol. 2. It seems that most of this year we have covered a lot of science, but now we will be covering history for 50 days. We love history! For school today, we stamped out 2 verses found in Rev. 22:18-19
For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
Whew! I should have picked something like .."Jesus wept."
We're learning about the history prior to the pilgrims landing on Plymouth. Martin Luther and Johannes Gutenburg's printing machine is where we started. It just so happened that I had this nifty ABC stamping set. So we were off stamping away our verses but running behind on lunch. The oldest had a lot of fun. The youngest grew tired. We hung our verses on our living room door and the 9yr. labeled it, "In honor of J. Gutenburg."

How very cool! We get to Gutenberg in a couple of weeks I think. That must have taken a while to stamp!
